What is this bug?
It's on every leaf in my garden. Also, do I see Russet mites too?

I agree with Karen - it's an aphid.

Guys thanks for the opinion, but I think I may have to respectfully disagree with aphid, this thing is fast moving, crawls around the whole leaf, has prominent antennae, the body is too slender, and it is the only bug in the area. Never seen a solo aphid with a slim body, and long antennae, and moving rapidly. Please don't get upset at me.

There are thousands of species of aphids. rotten buggers. all shapes, colors, wings, no wings... slow, fast skinny, pear shaped (like me) no end to the sap sucking honeydew pooping little monsters.

There is an online resource for bug identification: BugGuide.net
Great site! If you can't find it, some one there will help you, including a few entomologists.

A Rose, is a Rose, is a Rose. A Skunk is....
Hit 'em with a little soapy water and see what happens. Charlie |

I don't know about your area, but if I leave a board in my garden and keep the soil moist for months, there is a colony of termites under it everytime. ....
They are easy to kill, but I've not seen any ill effects from them in the garden. http://www.wikihow.com/Identify-a-Termite

It doesn't look like an aphid to my eye… but the photo isn't clear enough for me to do any better.

I can't tell what it is for sure, but I don't think it is an aphid, either. Too long and skinny.
