Taupo - description?
I've got tomato seeds in my collection labeled 'Taupo OP'
Does anyone have a description for this var.? Jeff, if you are reading this - did you grow it this year? There is also a hybrid called Taupo.

Taupo OP is a dehybridized version of the popular NZ tomato and is a small red in the 4-6 oz region. Taupo is the name of a NZ place.
If you put quotation marks around what you're after when you search with Google, such as "Taupo" tomato seeds you'll find the same link I did to a Jeff Casey in NZ who has a picture of it and sells seeds for it and many others. For several of them he says he got the seeds from me, but I'm not sure who he is. http://cuke.hort.ncsu.edu/cucurbit/w...vgclintro.html ........is the link to the NCSU Vegetable Cultivar list. That's the home page listing the various categories of vegetables and you'll find extensive listings in the tomatoes for many hybrids and quite a few of the older commercial OP's. Hope that helps.
