Just planted 12 more plants and the temp is supposed to drop

Tonights temp will drop to 50 degrees. Will this kill all of my tomato plants?

We are now experiencing a cool snap also. Lows at night in the upper 60s and low 70s with highs barely getting to 90 for a week. It's all relative.

It was 37 degrees here a day ago, 33 degrees east of me where the weather is usually warmer at night. Nothing in the ground yet.

I think you should be okay, Elliot. It's been a rugged year. It dropped into the 40's a few times over the past few weeks here in the DC area. We are having just the opposite problem the folks out West are experiencing, we are cold and damp.

I left my tomato plants outside when the nighttime low was around 40 degrees F.
No problems with that. So I don't see why 50 degrees will be any problem.
