It is a new experimental striped heart that you got from Tom Wagner which doesn't have a name yet. It is a cross between tiger-like and Pink Ox-heart.

Do I win?

Holy wow that's beautiful whatever it is. I say will be green striped like green zebra when ripe.

Ding ding ding we have a winner. Good job dfollett.

Anyone out there that has grown beauty mark before? Is the heart shape normal because it seems really pronounced for a cross between white brandy and brandy stripes?

I'm growing it for the first time this year. I just planted out this week. I'll post photos if it is interesting. Post a photo when it ripens and be sure to report on the taste.

I will for sure. I have a cluster of four right now that are getting huge and a lot more gumball sized fruits. I will say that this plant is one of the first plant to set fruit out of the 100 plants i have going.

I grew a couple of Beauty Mark last year, nothing like yours though, the ones I had were fairly ordinary.

What traits/flavor/size did you see in your beauty marks?

Regular leaf, grew well enough but nothing to make it stand out and it seemed a bit plain, round or slightly flattened and not very big, no stripes. I think red or possibly black?! I grew quite a few of Tom's varieties last year but didn't save seeds from this one as flavour didn't wow either. Germination wasn't good from remainder of seed this year so I only have one plant growing, if it looks anything like yours, I'll be a happy bunny
Hope yours taste as good as they look

Did you buy seeds this year or last?

Default What did you end up with?

Heirloomtomatoguy,

What did the Beauty Mark turn out like? How was the flavor?

Mine are larger than I expected, but I don't know what color they will eventually turn out.
