Average # of heirlooms tomatoes set

I've got a question about Heirloom productivity. I'm grow mostly large pink s and black heirlooms for my second yr. I love it. I've got 13 plants in containers on my deck(smart Pots)My question is my plants have set about 15 tomatoes each (average) before taking a break in settting fruit because of the summer heat I guess. What kind of averages do you get before your start setting again in the fall?

2 purpledog creeks
2stump of the world
2danas dusky rose
2 large barred boar
1 indian stripe
2 brandywine
1 crnvokic yugoslavian
1 carbon

I have 17 Carbon on my one plant!

For me, 15 is about average on a good one. Some have only a few like my Marianna's Peace.

You should get a very large number of fruit on Carbon, Inidian Stripe and Dana's Dusky Rose. Large pinks like Stump can vary greatly depending upon conditions and the weather. The large pinks generally set much better before it gets hot when fruit set will drop off dramatically. I'm usually happy with anywhere from around a dozen and above on any of the large fruited varieties. I have found recently that a huge fruit set on some large fruited varieties turns them into medium to small fruited varieties sometimes.

I have 17 fruit set on my Brandywine (Sudduth), and it's about 8 feet tall at this point. Some of the larger fruit at the bottom are well over 1 lb already, and I see no slowing down regarding the fruit growth. The upper trusses are waiting for the bottom fruit to be picked, I believe...LOL

Mine is full of little ones, waiting for sunshine..
