My first tasting - CP v. PBTD !!
This is one of my comparison test of similar tomatoes.
Now take in mind, there were 2 adults, and three kids! lol! 5 votes total Cherokee Purple - 1 Pink Berkeley Tie Dye - 3 Undecided - 1 LOL Can't say enough how pleased I was with PBTD. It's going to be tough to beat for me. Wish the plant didn't suffer frost damage but.. I have one more on the counter to test against my fav of all time..SHANNON'S! For now it's beaten CP, Stupice and Bolseno for flavor in my garden. It has some tough one's to beat in KBX, Anna Russian, and Carbon! Greg |

You've got me all stirred up waiting for mine. : )
Mine are definitely indet. and the fruit set is not as heavy. Maybe you have natural, new strain. I'd definitely save some seeds from those puppies. Are you on the mountain end or flat end of NC. I'm only 12 miles by crow to the NC-TN-VA corner. Zone 6b |

Jessee, I'm down in the Piedmont outside of Charlotte. Had 16 off one plant but it was nailed by the frost so all fruit was off the side shoots. for me it was worth growing for sure!
Take pics of it when she's ripe! save those seeds!! I'm fresh out!! lol Greg |
