Default Tatiana's new container garden

We got a little bit of space cleared off turf, and Stan made this beautiful garden, so it is easy for me to go there and enjoy.

It is very small, but still lovely, and I like resting under the large plum tree where I get a perfect view of the tomato plants!

The garden has 3 fruit trees, lettuce, bush beans, herbs, and of course tomatoes!

I thought I'd share some of the shots.

Tatiana

It is SOOOO obvious that your Stan is a keeper. You are one lucky lady. Make sure to get a Lotto ticket.

Most of us would kill for a setup like that. Couldn't happen to a nicer lady.

Very nice garden! So how many tomato plants are you growing?

That's a serious grow-op! Nicely done - everything looks very healthy.

Awesome! I love gardens, especially tomato gardens. When I die can I have my ashes put in your garden, lol? Kidding of course but spending eternity there wouldn't be a bad option. I'd call that heaven!

In this small container garden we have about 250-300 tomato plants. There are about 700 tomato plants in the main garden. Not a lot this year, but still enough to entertain a small garden crew

Stan knows that my ashes will go here!

Thank you everybody for the kind comments. I like this new garden too

The only problem with it, it does not get lots of sunlight. 5 hrs max, so I do not expect a good or early production from here. But it makes a nice relaxation place for me, easy to walk and not slippery, so I am very safe here.

He is a keeper, yes

Thank you for the compliments, Ted!

Tatiana

P.S. We have another 1/6 acre of lawn space that would make a nice strawberry garden - Stan will have to fence our property first before anything could be planted there, as deer and bear do not give us any chances to garden. Only the electric fence stops them!

I will try to motivate him into getting the fence up. Then we'll get another truck load of free wood chips that could be piles up on the turf to smother it and kill it over winter. Sounds like a good project to dream about
