Lesson learned! I won't purchase "great deal" seeds again!
Earlier in the season, I posted a thread about my Cherokee Purple plant being very small. I finally have ripe tomatoes on that plant and they are not Cherokee Purple tomatoes! They are small, red, and round. I looked back at my spreadsheet (yes, I am a nerd) to see where I got the seeds and ---yep, this was an ebay purchase from two years ago before I started really reading up on saving seeds. The plants grown from seeds purchased from SSE and other "real" seed sellers grew fruit that I believe to be the tomatoes I intended to grow. Lesson learned and I will not try to save money on seeds from now on!!!

Oh what a shame! Are they edible at least?
There's always next year for Cherokee Purple and they are worth growing! Linda |

Linda, they are okay. Based on shape and taste, I honestly wonder if they were seeds from a grocery store tomato!
