Craig LeHoullier Talk and Book Signing
My wife and I attended a seed swap event (Seed and Scion Swap) in Decatur Ga in January of this year and Craig was the keynote speaker. He was an extremely engaging speaker for about an hour. There was lots of discussion, questions and exchanges with the audience during the hour plus time allotted to him. For me it could have lasted twice that long at least! I believe this was his first public engagement to talk in detail about Epic Tomatoes. He gave a fine preview/synopsis of the book's varied content as well as growing tips pertinent to our southeastern region.
He also provided quite a few seed packets for the swap event. After the talk we gathered his signature, had a brief chat and picked his brain (and Susan's)for a few more growing tips, etc. As a bonus we were able to pick up a couple of packets of his seeds (they were dwarf varieties) to add to our tomato plot this year. Anyway kudos to you Craig on a great book and an energizing talk/discussion! ( It was a pleasure to meet you and Susan!) I hope some of you all here have the chance to attend one of his other speaking events coming up this year. Last edited by BluebirdChas; February 5, 2015 at 04:48 PM. |
