Seedling tables, grow lights, etc.
Years ago I made a very plain and basic house plant table, probably two feet by four feet in size. The frame extended up (solid 2 X 4) on all four corners to about six feet in height. I had a couple of cross pieces that I could hang baskets from, and it also had sockets where I had grow lights down the center. How much good they did, I don’t know.
My seedling arrangement was not adequate last year, so I thought I would post here and see what ideas might sprout concerning a table for seedlings. I know there are some very creative people here with lots of good ideas on designing, improvising, and building everything imaginable concerning plant growing. I wondered if any of you might have already built seedling tables, and if you use grow lights, etc. and how well it all works. I’ve looked around for web sites, but haven’t found anything interesting yet. Maybe you have just the URL that would help or have pictures and specs of your own designs. I hope to get something nice constructed while I’m waiting on spring, and this would be a good project for January. Any ideas or suggestions? Don
