Lettuce raft?

I know that it is basically a tomato site, i am making a lettuce raft that i want to oxygenate using a water pump. i had success using air pumps in the past but i am trying to find out what big farms use and how they inject the O2 using only water pumps. i have ideas to make a small gallon above the raft with a hose that goes into the raft and i can oxygenate the water in that small res and inject it into the raft. however i wonder if that would be enough. i really would love to know how they the pros do it before i go through trials and errors on my own. any knowledge on this is greatly appreciated

Not sure what quantities you are trying for, but are you aware of the Kratky methods of hydroponics? Works for me.

thanks beeman and jeanus. i watched both vids. i know of these methods and i currently use a bubbler but i am trying to find out what commercial systems use because i intend to go commercial. i know that they use water chillers and water pumps but i wanted to know how they used the pumps to air the water in the most efficient way. i would not go commercial with the kratky method

Why not? Looking around there is evidence that some are successful using the Kratky methods.
Just scaling up the one I use, I'm sure it could make money.

well because i will eventually run into problems and it would really suck to have to deal with a million gallons of bad ferts with no electric equipment. i dont see how to avoid contamination on large scale without at least pump and uv sterilizer
