Sorry, I'm trying a couple of "blues" for the first time this year, so I'll have to defer to others. Good luck with your search.

I had Dancing with Smurfs last year. It is a blue cherry tomato. I think it tastes like a normal red cherry. The fruit are half red, half midnight blue.

I've grown OSU blue, and I did not like it at all.

Purple Bumble Bee is the sweetest purple tomato I have had so far; it's a cherry. Cherokee Purple is probably the most popular.

Dwarf Tasmanian Chocolate is another dark tomato that I like very much.

Of the blue tomatoes, the sweetest I've tried is Amethyst Cream. It's ivory colored with blue everywhere the sun hits it. I love the little stars that are left on the tops of the fruit!

A good place to start when looking for seed sources to buy is in our seed sources sub-forum. Here it is.
http://www.tomatoville.com/forumdisplay.php?f=67

If you go to Tatiana's Tomatobase, she lists an incredible amount of tomato cultivars and also peppers, etc. she also has a button to click on to see places where to buy the seeds if they are available. Some do not ship overseas, unfortunately.

Ive grown, Blue Boar Berries, Blue Gold, Amethyst Cream, Amethyst Jewel, Blue Beauty, Blue Chocolate and im trying Dark galaxy and Muddy Waters for the first time.

Of those i have tried, Blue beauty was probably the best tasting overall. Blue Boar berries, Amethyst Cream, and Amethyst jewel were extrmely productive plants and all tasted good as well, just not as good as Blue beauty in my opinion. The Amtheyst cream is a mild, sweeter tomato and got sweeter the riper it got. I do enjoy Blue boar berries when they are dead ripe, and brick colored on the bottom. Almost plum like in flavor to me. Most people have a hard time letting them get that color. Didnt really care for the blue gold, but it also produced well. Still havent decided on blue chocolate, want to give it another try before I comment on it.

A shot of Blue Beauty and Dark galaxy from this season.

Amethyst Cream, as well as most of the others mentioned above, were bred by Wild Boar Farms. I'm not sure if he ships internationally though, but I think he does. http://shop.wildboarfarms.com/TOMATO-SEEDS_c3.htm

I'm growing Amethyst Cream, Dancing with Smurfs, Helsing ★★★★★★★★ Blue, Indigo Sun, and Bosque Blue. If the plants make it through the storms tonight, I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Dancing with Smurfs was the first to produce. Helsing ★★★★★★★★ Blue was second.
