Default Gnat suicide

Any one else notice gnats on your tomatoes...Dead? Seems everyday I pick off a few gnats that appear to have been killed by the plant.

Is it suicide? Or murder?

I have tons of gnats just frozen on the plant in time. Dead of course. I think its more like murder.

I have posted twice about the numerous ants that appear dead on only certain tomato plants in my office garden. I was worried that it was something toxic in the soil but now I don't even glance their way. Weird, I do not see gnats on the plants, at least not on my tomatoes.

I think they're getting high off the Tomato juice and over-dosing.

And now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head the rest of the day, thanks Paul!

Yeah I see ants on mine all the time dead. I assumed they were overdosing on tomato narcotics

This came up in another thread and peebee, I remember your thread about the ants. So I guess it's part of the plant's defense system.
