Here are the peppers I picked today. Mostly super hots - note the very pretty Congo Trinidads - but the Thai Prik, a medium hot bird pepper, is really popping this year.

Wow, you're way ahead of the game Scott, excellent looking peppers!! I've only picked one ripe Fatalii and a few Habaneros and Caribbean Reds so far.

The over wintered peppers are really pumping them out early.

I tried growing the black pearl for 3 years and they never made it past seedling stage, how do they taste?

They are medium hot, and a little bland, honestly. My plant is also slow - but the fruit is lovely.

Yeah I mainly wanted to grow for the color but I think my seeds were sucky. At least I didn't miss much in terms of flavor. I'm growing the low heat Habanero this year so I can make salsa that other people can eat, I'm excited to try them and see if the flavor is still there.

those look good but I cant take the heat so I plant bells and a few chillis. None ready yet.

It is the hottest of the bunch. It is a naga. I found it in Dhaka after a year of searching farmers markets.

This is the one that makes grown men weep like little girls. It tastes like a red hot orange.
