I planted this one, but tough to tell make & model in early stage. FB friends are "sure" it is a patio tomato, but fruit weight is 6oz, plant is 6ft tall, and size of a racquetball. Know it's not a good picture.
Always have volunteers, but usu chop down. start seedlings under grow light, then greenhouse, then transplant. I like to plant about 10-12" deep in a 22" raised bed. most got dug in 04/01 this year, some 04/15, couple 04/30. tried to space out so wouldn't be inundated - ha, ha - they are all poppin' off at same time anyways, but 1st planting has bigger plants. |

Did you buy the plants or grow from seeds?
If the former, I suspect a mislabel. Lee

Generally grow all mine from seed, the only plant this year was the G. Queen that I bought on a whim and have never grown. Not impressed with it so far, slow producing and slow to ripen.
I grow about 100 seedlings and then cull down to about 30, giving several away, had to use two "extra" for couple of plants that got wiped out from early hail, etc... Seeds come from variety of supply (not own surplus). Obv. BrandyBoy comes from Burpee, have also used seedsofchange, peaceful valley, etc.... and have friend who runs feed store in meridian, ms that sends me tons of stuff. |
