Orange Tennessee cheese type pepper?
I have a pepper growing in my garden this year that looks like a Tennessee cheese pepper, but it is orange. Is there a variety that comes in orange? I have only seen them in red.

Yes, Doe Hill Golden Bell is a cheese/pimento type. It almost looks like a little pumpkin once it turns completely orange. Very cute and very sweet.

Thanks. I went and looked at that, but it looks more like a tennessee cheese than that one.I have no idea where this seed came from. Most of my peppers are either saved seed or commercially produced and hybrid. This is in the middle of a row of orange bell peppers that is a commercial hybrid variety. I guess I will save this one and try it again next year. Maybe even start one now and grow it over the winter.

There's always plain old "Yellow Cheese." www.heirloomseeds.com sells that one.

Ahh maybe so. I googled yellow tennessee cheese, but that didn't show up that I saw. Thanks. I have only seen it in red.
