Thai cooking peppers- free seed
Folks, I just rolled in from Bangkok, and brought some seeds for the larger chilis that are dried and used for Thai soups. You can see the pics below. I bought some at the market because the flavor they add is just so darn good. These are not the small bird peppers.
If you want some, just PM me with your address, and the topic Thai Chili. No SASE, nothing more needed. |

Folks, the demand for these Thai chili seeds far exceeded my expectations. I am now in Africa, but will get the seeds in the mail before Thanksgiving, in plenty of time for germination for 2016. I have plenty of seeds - those of you who pmed me without your mailing address, send your address!

While here for work, I brought several varieties of larger red tomatoes for friends to trial in Zambia. They said consumers just don't know about yellow or other colors, and so they want to stick to red for the markets. I brought them Black Krim (Ok, it looks reddish), Dona F1, a few Brandywines, etc. I also brought Georgia Streak - a yellow bicolor. Very adventurous for the market here, but who knows?

Even in Northern California the farmer market vendors mostly sell the safe varieties, a few carry heirloom beefsteak in black, pink, red, orange. I haven't seen a heart, green, striped or white.
http://tomatoville.com/showpost.php?...0&postcount=59 Surely the Tomatovillians are trend setters sharing with the world the real tasty, fun and beautiful heirlooms beyond imagination. I can't wait to share with my neighbors what I grow, and insist my uncle and grandma grow these fun varieties I collected. |
