Default Relatively new here

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to jump in and introduce myself, I'm Alberta, I hail from eastern Long Island, NY. I've been gardening since 1983, and love growing all kinds of tomatoes. I don't really post frequently anywhere, but I do enjoy reading the boards here and at GW. Happy Gardening all.

Welcome Alberta!!!!

I've known Alberta for many years since she and I used to be in and around the AOL tomato folder for many years.

So read all you want to Alberta and I do hope that you'll also post from time to time.

Hello, Alberta. Welcome. So what are some of your favorites? Have you ever grown SFT? :-)

Default SFT!!!

Ok, Earl, I did a search on SFT, little by little I'm learning how to navigate around these boards, LOL, No I've never grown SFT. I really don't care for yellow tomatoes, and seeing the picture of SFT, they just don't appeal to me. Prior to Chuck Wyatt's passing, I had purchased some seed from him, but that was also before I learned how to ferment and save seed. One of my old favorites is Cherokee purple, which I grow every year, also Dr.C's ivory and pink. I've grown mortgage lifter, magnum beefstake, some from NCtomatoman a few years back, but right now I'm having a senior moment and can't remember the names. I guess I should keep my list right near my computer, LOL.
