Default What if you never ???

What happens when you grow a
plant from seed to mature plant in a pot -

How do you guestimate DTM's ???

Is there a "rule of thumb" rule ?????

* 1-2 weeks germination
* 5-6 weeks to transplant in the garden
* DTM starts at this point. So you could start DTM at 8 weeks after sowing seeds.

Then again, Carolyn and others believe DTM is pretty much a useless figure.

Worth -

I thought DTM was "days to maturity"

Because I'm growing tomatoes in a pot - never transplating them - I was wondering when to start "counting" the days until I would see ripe fruits.

Thanks Feldon -
At your rate, this would be a very late variety -
being more than 108 days until at least flowering...
I'm sure winter sun conditions apply as well ...

Are DTM buds, open flowers, or tomatoes ?
("loose translations of course)

I wonder if it were grown under normal summer conditions if that number would be cut in half ?
