2016 Tomato Tentative Grow List
Note that one of the varieties is name Trump; it is simply one that I am interested in growing and has nothing to do with politics what so ever.

Greg,
Your list looks wonderful - must have taken you several years to amass such a collection! Raybo |

Close to 99 varieties. I went overboard with 27. . But then I have a small backyard garden. Gardeneer |

What an amazing list you have! I can't wait to hear about how they all do for you this year.

I have been collecting and growing varieties for a few years, around 15. But over half the varieties I listed are ones that I have traded for, purchased, and been given during the last 10 months.

I grow 110 plants in my back yard. I am attempting to germinate 126 varieties (one of which looks like is not going to germinate). I start some varieties for friends. |

Purple Elgin, is it akin to Elgin Pink? Impressive list btw!
The best thing I like about your list is it makes me feel less guilty about mine (mine is ALOT smaller but I feel like I went way overboard) .... Al |

Some are from Vladimir, some are from Valerian, some originated with the Estonian site and here's one I really want to know where you got it. Libanese from the mountains. That's Omar's Lebanese but who would change the name? Beware of Crimson Crush, long story on that one Byche Serdtse is not right Dugoselski Jabucar is not right I see many that someone got in trade from a person from a message site trade, and sent some as a surprise to someone here at Tville that were almost all wrong, and thank heavens that Maticc from Slovenian was here to help correct what he could. I did a wonderful trade with Maticc this year. I'll shut up now, but please give me a chance to help before you pass some of those along that need help with spellings, etc., especially b/c you said you don't know much about the European ones, and some that you got are not from Europe proper. And for sure we can do this via e-mail,not here in this thread publicaly, which actually I refuse to do for several reasons. Carolyn, who doesn't charge for consultation about tomato varieties, but does for some other stuff, like dark bittersweet chocolate.

Great list! Especially since my favorite is in there.
I hope you are going to be at Bill's this year. I missed you last year! Remy

Very impressive, Gary. I wish you a great season.
If you need more info regarding Romanian varieties (including pictures), please visit this page http://www.rosiidingradina.ro/romanesti and click the name you're interested in I am sorry it is in Romanian, but Google will help you, and me of course.

Anyone who thinks I'M crazy, I'm going to show them YOUR list!!!
I am curious...how many tomatoes from your list are other people planting in their garden this year??? I think I have 3, but it may end up being 5 if I get some more seed in the ground. Dark Chocolate Cherry???? I have Choc. Cherry...this sounds good too! |
