Charlines tomatopics 2016
I ate my first tomato of the season so I think I can start the thread for 2016.
first two tomatoes were eaten by my chicks so no pics and no tasting the first I tasted was heavenly.... it is from the swap and called megatrusses. it does not have really megatrusses but flavor was REALLY good second one was a Sungold next one will be a grinch cherry RL here some other multifloras: reverend michael keyes lots of flowers and very good fruit set (thank you Clara) Megagron (Kozula 14) and here a variegated called Marmorata (also from Clara) |

Charline, nice pictures. Variegated one looks interesting. What color/shape is the fruit? I was unable to find it by google.

Charline, lovely looking tomatoes you have. I lost my first few tomatoes , and the next few to birds, including our chickens. I was very sad.. Lol

Beautiful pics Charline! I will be keeping an eye on Marmorata. It looks interesting with alot of variegation.

Megagron is Kozula 14 from the polish breeder
is has huge flower clusters hope the taste is there too....... nothing ripe yet on 3 plants |

Marmorata is indeed a very nice looking plant, but sorry to say, the fruits are "only" red, size of a golf-ball. I had got the seeds from a seedbank with NO infos added, so I was quite curious about Marmorata . It was rather early and very prolific, perhaps due to our unusual good summer - I'd wish 2016 were the same...
