Default Who has grown Rab Srce ,especially,or Rab Orajak?

And I ask since someone here said they got pink hearts for the Srce one, which is wrong,I think one person said that it should be red, which is right.

But I can't tell you how long I've spent doing a search here and no results,no matter what I do,and yes,I remember to star Rab,since it's too short to be used for a search.

Both are from Matic in Slovenia, also a Tville member,we did a large trade and both are being grown out this summer by my seed producers, but no feedback yet.

Matic had sent me detailed descriptions of everything he sent.

So someone, please help defrustrate me,if there is such a word.

Carolyn, edited to add tha it should be Orjak in the thread title

Carolyn -

I mentioned on Idig that I was growing what was supposed to be RAB SRCE and what I got was pink hearts. Yes I know it should have been red.

The seeds came from Matic.

Hopefully the ones your growers have will come true and mine were just a seed mix-up.

Rab Heart and Rab Giant. I think that it's tomatoes that Mat received from the island Rab (today a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea).

I checked his detailed descriptions and there WAS a pink heart he sent me called Volovsko Srce, so maybe that was the problem,I don 't know how many varieties you got from him.

As I said above, I still don't know what my seed producers will get for both varieties, too early to know yet.

Carolyn, and thanks for the reminder since I thought it was at TV that someone had said that, and just letting you know that right now I can't do anything at idig, have Pmed M and followed up with an e-mail,don't know what the problem is,but hope it gets fixed soon.

You are absolutely correct Vladimir, for he had said the same on the descriptions. Rab Giant being a red beefsteak and Srce being more heart shaped and also red.

And yes from the island of Rab in Croatia.

He also knows Iva from Slovenia quite well.

Carolyn, who knows that Matic sources seeds from many places, his list had about 400 on it, but I was looking mainly for Slovenian ones, being very impressed with the ones Iva had sent me,as well as Slovenian and Croation ones as well, and that's what he sent. i still have the list of ones he chose off my list that I was willing to trade with him. All to say is that Matic is one great person IMO.
