Mystery Tomato
I bought this tomato plant thinking it was Soldaki, a friend's mother sent her the seeds from Yugoslavia. Any ideas what it might be? It is ripe now after a planting in late April here in the Portland Oregon area. First of my larger tomatoes to ripen. It has a regular leaf. I haven't tasted it yet

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Soldacki It was never known as Soldacki in Poland, where it came from, but was named Soldacki by Carmen Artino, a fellow faculty member, whose wife's maiden name was Soldacki and it came down in her family, unnamed, and was brought to the US around 1900 from Krakow,Poland. Hope that helps, Carolyn.
