X3R
I'm working on my grow/wish list of peppers for next year and was looking at Emerald Fire and its description. It said it has super X3R disease resistance.
I know what almost all the symbols stand for, but this is a new one on me. Anybody happen to know what type of disease resistance X3R means ? |

I THINK.. they (the x3r varieties) are tolerant to bacterial leaf spot 1, 2, 3.

you are welcome. I was pretty sure, then I went and looked before I finished the thought that was why "I THINK" was printed first... I gleaned that from Stokes catalog in fine print where it specifies about the "culture" of peppers. Did you get theses from Stokes? I am thinking they are the ones to tout the X3R designation, but I may be wrong... I have my group of seed sources that I buy from, but am not remembering if others carry them also. I got some free E. Fire ones from totally tomatoes, but I don't think that is hyped up like Stokes does it. I got one to grow and sold it to a really late shopper since I hadn't gotten it in the garden yet.
