Psyllids
Psyllids have moved in strong. I don't get them every year fortunately, I've not had much success in getting rid of them. They seem to like like smoother leaves better than hairy, and are especially strong on the Big Beef this year.. It's not a speedy death, I'm plucking what spots I see and should get most of the crop in.
The pshyllid sugar falling down from the backside of leaves is the first thing you notice, flipping over the leaf above you can see the eggs. |
