Golden Queen USDA Strain
I have grown Golden Queen Stokes and found it very good as did others. I received a tomato growers supply and they list Golden Queen USDA Strain. I thought it was difficult to get seeds for as they were in the USDA seed bank, therefore what are others opinions on them being the authentic version?

Thank you Carolyn. For some reason I recall that the non-USDA was commonly available while the true to Livingston's original was marketed as such but found to be other than the original as in not growing true to type. Thank you for clearing up my assumption.

Actually because of Carolyn and Craig's work with the USDA type, I think most vendors are trying to grow that one. That's not to say they all have the correct one. The seed company Stokes discontinued their version of Golden Queen before 2000 (I believe). I just happened to still have seeds and since it was OP anyway, grew and saved them. I don't know if anyone other than me is offering the Stokes variety any more. Unless it's by someone that doesn't say which Golden Queen they have.
