Season is about 3-weeks early in UK.

Owing to the climate change etc, the spring season has started about three weeks too early over here in the UK.

All the flowering trees are out in full bloom, Daffodils and Crocuses are also out in full bloom, and the birds are starting to sing at Dawn, none of this usualy takes place until about the end of march or the first week in april.

So I am trying to take full advantage of the situation and sow my tomato seeds a bit earlier than usual, hoping that the prevailing light conditions will hold up long enough for the young seedlings to get big enough before the weather changes, there is still the odd night frost or two here and there.

This climate change business is getting quite tricky to calculate every season, and I am often left scratching my head,looking at moon phase charts, checking the winter berries on the holly trees, and pure guess work- to try and crack the code.

The same conditions here in Belarus. The late spring weather started right from first days of March. Need to be hurry with tomato sowing...

It's much colder than normal here. It was -1° F here this morning, which is unusually cold for right now. Dang it!

We're experiencing record highs here in Phoenix. Yesterday came 1 degree short of hitting 90!!

Granted, the weather is great for the maters, but I REALLY hope it cools down a bit before we really head into summer.

it feels like it has been much colder than usual here in Pacific NorthWest... or is it just me being anxious to move all there tomato seedlings outside?

Michael, Andrey, it sounds like good news for you folks down there - an early spring is always a very nice thing to have

it is 90 degrees in southern california. luckily i got my tomatoes in early and they're doing great. however, it does scare me a little.

And I have to go back to that tomorrow!!!!!

I like to froze to death with all of that wind we had there two weeks ago.

I hope I get to see a GOOD SUMMER up there this year.

Worth -- You'll be freezing your blossoms off this week!!! I believe I saw that it was -25 on the slope the other day. And right now the wind is just howling here (here in Wasilla). Sheesh! This is so tiresome.
