2017 BLT's
I'll start with mine just made today.
Mortgage Lifter. Homemade bacon. Dukes mayonnaise. Fresh chard. Squash blossoms. Pickled Lemon drop peppers. Sweet potato leaves. Fried okra pods. Drizzled with 25 year old Balsamic vinegar. Nothing fancy just a simple sandwich. Worth IMG_20170610_44136.jpg IMG_20170610_0680.jpg |

Thanks everyone, I forgot to get the basil and put on it too.
The mortgage lifter is what I would call old time tomato flavor for sure. Not too anything but just right. I wish I had a bunch of them and was able to slip a bunch in with the pink tomatoes at the store. People would taste one and go what the hell is this? From my observations and total lack of any ability to grow a tomato I would highly suggest this one be sold at farmers markets. There would be no reason to explain the color or anything. It looks like a store bought tomato but with flavor. Worth |

Worth, that is some sandwich. I bet you have enjoyed it.
I cannot duplicate it, because I have no homemade bacon. But I've the the rest. Now I've got the recipe' . That is what iss going to be for lunch tomorrow. My ML has few good size maters but nothing ripe yet but But I can substitute Brandy Boy , Big Beef.

Thanks.
I didn't start a timer but I bet I sucked up everything on the plate in less than 10 minutes. Worth |
