Looking great! A lot of us in zones 5-6 will be starting our main season seeds this week so in about mid-June ours will hopefull look as nice as yours. What are those shrubs along the fence in the second picture?

I have no idea what type of shrub those are, they were there when the family that owns the house moved in.

I hope mine look like that in 2 weeks, since I am 2 weeks behind you.

Mine have grown since they were planted and show no outward signs of ill health. Next paycheck, I make bully's C-shaped cages.

if you look at the very back of the top pic, the plant furthest left is a Brandywine that was sown on thanksgiving as part of a germination test. I had potted it up 3 times before finally getting it in the ground. It is the tallest plant of the bunch but also the last to bloom. It didnt look so good at times but has really perked up since being put in the ground.

Great job, Duane. Looks like they came through that freeze just fine. My plants aren't quite that big yet, need to start them a week earlier next year.

I think your shrubs might be Red Tipped Photinia, some just call them Red Tips.
