Default Deserves its own thread

One of my "True North Tomatoes"
F5 potato leaf tri coloured heart with a clear epidermis.
That's a lot of recessive genes and I am very proud of this. I believe it to be a unique tomato.
From my very first cross of Ludmillas pink heart x Captain Lucky.

Pretty, and thank you for showing a bit of the epidermis peeled back. Is that at full ripeness?

No, this is just ripe enough to eat, they show a lot more pink inside when riper. I was anxious to taste it, to see if as good as the F4, it is. Smooth and tangy sweet like captain lucky but meatier less gel.

I'll take more pics of various ripeness later on . When dead ripe the whole exterior is dark pink with the green and yellow marbled pink interior. Later fruits will have a bit more gel and more seeds but still very solid.

As well as being beautiful it looks like it has good size too. Looking forward to more pics as it ripens.

You do such interesting crosses that turn out pretty and tasty. I admire that.

Congrats. A nice one.

I don't know about Ludmias but to me the flesh similar to Captain Lucky.

BTW: Is this part of your KARMA project ?

No, this is a separate line, a different cross, This project is all large potato leaf hearts. there are others, I will post photos of the sister lines to this one as well once I have some nice ones ripe. there are several threads here on TV about this project. if interested, search True north tomatoes or look at my FB page Northern Gardener

My avatar is a picture of one of the sister lines to this one.
