Could it be a good year for Mangos?

This tree is Kent Mangoes. Yum.

Last year we had a drought so production was way off.

2016 was a record for me (64 fruits) but my tree was only 4 years old.

Even my choc-anon mango tree has lots of buds.

I think some trees deliberately take a year off to recuperate between big yields. This looks like it could be your Year of the Mangoes, you lucky duck. How will you preserve them?

Check in to a product that contains a lot of phosphorous,ground deep water the drip line of your mangoes,this will encourage stronger blooms.As you know there are a million little flowers,only two per branch will survive,next comes a nice high wind,then maybe a wet rainy mold encouraging couple weeks.A horned type beetle black and will nip you will suck on fresh young growth.Hurricane Irma gave us a “ trim” that gave us all new blooms,a zillion plus..Nows the time to keep the blooms so as bees,birds,buy some ladybugs if needed,foliage the buds up until soft flowers occur then lay off the moisture on budsif you can.Some nitro will help with the ,stem for that mangoe.Good luck kurt
