Hi there from small town in Slovenia.
Since I havent posted much since I joined I decided to show my setup for this season.
I have planted tomatoes at home outside in the garden under the cover and inside in 6m x 4m covered greenhouse. I have also 20tomatoes planted at our place in the hills about 700m above the sea level. There they have little protection no roof and almost no watering so they have to care for themselves almost all the time. I visit them once a week or when i find the time.
So here are a few pics from beginning till now:

I`ll add new pictures about the progress tommorow because it is friday evening here and I think I deserved myself a beer or twoo

We have a very rainy season this year but tomatoes are doing very good especially in the greenhouse, because the temperatures are lover. Last years when it was very hot above 35°C in the shade they were literally cooking inside. I have many varieties from all over the place.
Volovsko srce (Oxheart) Novosadski Jabučar and one no name variety from our part of the Europe.
Then I have a lot of black varieties:Black Bear, Black Plum, Black Krim Japanese Black Trifele there are also bicolors like Red Zebra some yellow and orange ones Goldfisch and Amish Paste, as also Zapotec, Nepal and Hezhou from around the world.
I got also dwarf varieties: Rosella Purple, Danko, Perth Pride, Bison and Budenovka and a few cherry ones: Helsing ★★★★★★★★ Blues, Sweetie and Sprite.
I like them all and I like to have many colors.

A local variety produces very large tomatoes the large ones are well over 1 kg (2,2Oz)

Budenovka this one surprised me as a semi determinate it has grown very big

And today it is time to make some sauce

they were picked yesterday in the greenhouse. I`m glad because they ripen so well with no cracks and green shoulders.

Absolutely beautiful, all around. I love the greenhouse, the wooden trellises, the view on the tall mountain in the background...

The netting is to protect from birds? Although it is open on the bottom?

What variety are the pretty yellow oblong shaped ones?

Ty all!

Yes the climate at our place is very tolerant for tomatoes and other vegetables. We are 46 degres above equator and we have a mediterranian climate. About one hour to the Sea and about one nad a half to our highest mountains.

The yellow tomatoes are Goldfisch variety, very productive and have a nice true tomato flavour, ideal for colouring the salads.
The netting is not for birds, it is more against hail storms which might occur. I dont want to lose the crop after a lot of work involved.

Picked today from the greenhouse and outside the garden.Bigest lot of the season.

This pale yellow Zapotec surprised me it should be pink. All the others from the same seed stock were, last and this season. I`ll save the seed to see if it will be the same.

The season is at its peak in the greenhouse. I started cutting the tops to force ripennig, two to three weeks and they will slowly finish.
Tomorrow I`ll visit our place in the country, there are starting to ripen too.
