Today's pics: another Giant CPE, EF & GQ
I picked my second giant Clear Pink Early today. Everything looks right about it except the size so I won't complain. You can see how large it is when compared to EF and GQ. The Golden Queen is the USDA Strain. It is my favorite yellow. Earl's Faux is the taste test winner so far this season.

I planted out in mid-March, lost the whole crop to a 22 degree freeze in early April, then replanted between April 11 and 19.
First frost-free date here is May 1. mater |
