Default Peppers

Since my tomatoes aren’t doing to well this year I thought I’d show off some peppers.
Left to right top row – Franks, Ariane, Pimento ‘de Padron, Fat & Sassy, Sweet Cayenne, Ancho
Bottom row - Georgescu Chocolate, Big Early Hybrid, Red Belgian, Jimmy Nardello, Marconni Rosso

Jerry....How do you like Georgescu Chocolate ? I even have ripe peppers from it this year and it is one of my favorites...
Also is Ariane hybrid or OP ?

Jeanne,

That’s one I got from you in a trade last year. We’ve only eaten it once so far. Grilled it on the charcoal grill. Thought it was real good. Sweet, creamy texture, kind of mellow with a tender skin.

Jerry,

Great peppers. Wish mine looked that good. What's your secret to growing good bell peppers? I never have any luck with them.

Thanks for the compliment.

I’ve had marginal success in the past but this year I created a new spot for them. It’s a strip alongside the concrete parking pad in FULL sun. If the sun is up they are in it. They get baked all day long plus the extra heat from the concrete has made them grow like crazy.

Jerry, those look great! This Saturday I'll bring a Tenderness for you to try. We've gotten two Arianes off the plant you gave Kathy.

Yah, Arianes doesn’t seem to be a big producer but they sure are pretty.
