Petes Italian Whopper
Did anyone ever grow this tomato? I've been growing a tomato for years called a Big Pete because the man who gave me the plant said it was called Pete something. The plant yields approx 6-7 1 to 1 1/5 lb fruit per plant. Excellent flavor and meaty with few seeds.

Originally listed by Joe Cavanaugh of NJ who got the seeds from Tom Tencza of NJ, seeds from Italy. In the few Yearbooks I checked I haven't seen any listings for a variety called Big Pete.
