Petes Italian Whopper

Did anyone ever grow this tomato? I've been growing a tomato for years called a Big Pete because the man who gave me the plant said it was called Pete something. The plant yields approx 6-7 1 to 1 1/5 lb fruit per plant. Excellent flavor and meaty with few seeds.

Pete's Italian Whopper has been listed in the SSE YEarbooks since 1998 so I'm sure seeds have been spread around by SSE members who got their starts from the YEarbook. I haven't grown it and there aren't many Yearbook listings for it.

In the few Yearbooks I checked I haven't seen any listings for a variety called Big Pete.
